A piece of Ashland’s history…

The Ashland Hostel is the oldest hostel in Ashland and is celebrating more than 30 years of private operation. It is a 100 year old home that is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.

The Ashland Hostel has a great community environment with many rooms, a well-equipped kitchen and a friendly front porch that looks over Main Street. Five minutes from downtown, the hostel is within easy walking distance to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and beautiful Lithia park, as well as the plaza’s abundant restaurants, shops and galleries.

The hostel welcomes all ages of travelers and has been host to Shakespeare Festival visitors, Pacific Crest Trail through-hikers, school groups, osteopath and naturopath conference attendees, The United Bicycle Institute, Ashland Mountain Adventurers and people from all over the world.

Meet the Owner

Hello, I’m going into my 3rd yr/season of owning the Hostel. I thoroughly enjoy meeting everyone who comes through our doors:) The hostel is an amazing establishment for our community with families coming to see Shakespeare, Pct hikers, united bike institute courses and the list goes on.
I’m also an 18 yr partner at Starbucks which I love!! Last but certainly NOT least my dog Lita is such a joy in my life!
