A piece of Ashland’s history…
The Ashland Hostel is the oldest hostel in Ashland and is celebrating 30+ years of private operation. It is a 100-year-old home that is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
The Ashland Hostel has a great community environment with a variety of rooms, a well-equipped kitchen and a friendly front porch that looks over Main Street. Just a three-minute walk will find you in downtown Ashland, home of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and the beautiful Lithia park, as well as the plaza’s abundant restaurants, shops and galleries.
The hostel welcomes travelers of all ages and has been host to many theatre enthusiasts, school groups, church groups, Pacific Crest Trail through-hikers, United Bicycle Institute students, and travelers from all over the world.
Private rooms, family suites and dorm rooms are available.
“The Ashland Hostel is centrally located and all around a fabulous deal. The service was outstanding – friendly, generous, and not overbearing. They went out of their way to orient me, transport me, and make my stay pleasurable. The place itself is tasteful, clean, and very comfortable. I felt lucky to have chosen it!”
